Inas Group · Tamada

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Inas Group handles information when you use Tamada, our Georgian toast-writing app for iPhone and iPad, and this app information page.

The essentials: Apple handles sign-in and payments. Your selected options and entered text are sent to OpenAI through our Cloudflare-hosted service when you request an AI toast and give permission. Saved toasts, plans, and voice files are stored on your device. You can delete your account in Settings.

1. Information used for your account

Sign in with Apple creates or authenticates your Tamada account. We receive an Apple account identifier and, when Apple provides them, your name and email address. If you choose Hide My Email, we receive Apple's relay address instead. We use these details and account/session identifiers to authenticate you, protect access, maintain your generation balance, and associate purchases with your account. Session credentials are kept in the device Keychain; the server stores token hashes.

2. Your text and AI generation

When you request a toast, the selected occasion, topic, tone, speech length, audience information, and text you enter are sent over HTTPS to our Cloudflare-hosted backend and then to OpenAI's API. Optional text can include names, relationships, shared memories, personal wishes, previous-toast context, and topics to avoid. Names and personal details are not required; leave those fields empty if you do not want to share them.

Tamada asks for explicit permission before the first AI request. You can revoke that permission in Settings under “მონაცემების შესახებ” (About data). Revocation stops future AI requests until you give permission again; it does not undo processing that has already occurred. Your Apple sign-in credentials and payment-card details are not included in the AI prompt. Only submit information you are authorized to share.

Our OpenAI requests disable API response storage. OpenAI states that API data is not used to train its models by default; provider security and abuse-monitoring retention may still apply. See OpenAI's Privacy Policy and API data controls.

3. Saved toasts, plans, and voice

Your saved toast collection, supra plans, and saved audio files are stored locally for your account on your device. They are not automatically synchronized to another device. Voice rendering is performed on the device; it does not require sending a microphone recording or a voice sample to our server. Tamada does not require microphone access for this feature. Audio preparation may create temporary local files, and audio is saved to your collection when you choose to save it.

4. Temporary recovery and service records

To recover interrupted requests and avoid charging twice, the backend temporarily retains generated responses for a recovery window of up to 72 hours. Response content is cleared after delivery is acknowledged or expiry cleanup. We retain account-linked usage, request identifiers, payload hashes, generation outcomes, balances, and transaction records as needed to operate the service, apply limits, recover purchases, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. Hosting infrastructure may process network information, such as IP addresses, request times, and technical error logs, for delivery, reliability, and security. We do not maintain a permanent cloud library of your saved speeches.

5. Purchases and subscriptions

Apple processes in-app purchases. We do not receive your payment-card number or bank-account details. Our backend verifies signed App Store transactions and server notifications and stores transaction/product identifiers, account links, purchase and expiry dates, refund information, and generation balances. This lets us deliver purchases, apply subscription limits, and avoid duplicate credit grants even when the app is closed.

RevenueCat provides paywall and purchase-related services. Its SDK receives an app account identifier, purchase/subscription information, and technical device or app information needed for those services. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy. Manage or cancel auto-renewable subscriptions in your Apple account settings; deleting the app or your Tamada account does not cancel an Apple subscription.

6. Music and external services

The music feature uses embedded YouTube playback and links to YouTube. Loading the player or opening a video connects to Google/YouTube, which may process network and device information and use cookies or similar technologies under its own terms. Tamada does not control the data practices of these external services. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Other service providers include Apple for authentication and payments, Cloudflare for hosting and data infrastructure, OpenAI for AI processing, and RevenueCat for paywalls. Providers may process information outside your country under their applicable privacy and security terms.

7. How we use and protect information

We use information to provide requested features, manage accounts and purchases, secure the service, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal information or use your toast content for targeted advertising. HTTPS, authenticated access, and signed purchase verification help protect information. No storage or transmission system can guarantee absolute security.

Where applicable, processing is based on providing the service you request, your consent for AI data sharing, legitimate interests in service security and operation, or legal obligations.

8. Your choices, deletion, and rights

You can choose Hide My Email, omit personal details, revoke AI-sharing consent, and delete locally saved content. To delete your account, open Tamada Settings and choose “ანგარიშის წაშლა” (Delete account), then confirm. This removes profile information, revokes sessions, clears recoverable response content, and removes the account's local collection through the app's deletion flow. Limited account identifiers, transaction and usage records may remain for purchase integrity, prevention of repeated free allowances, fraud prevention, or legal obligations. Signing out is not account deletion.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing of, or obtain a copy of your personal information, withdraw consent, and complain to your local data-protection authority. Contact hello@inasgroup.net to make a request. We may need information to verify account ownership.

9. Children

Tamada is not directed to children under 13, or the applicable minimum age in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.

10. This website, contact, and updates

This page describes Tamada and provides support and policy information. With your permission, our Cloudflare-hosted VisitorCounter measures visits to the Tamada website. It records a browser identifier kept in local storage, session and page-view identifiers, the page path, visit and visible-page times, the referring website’s origin, approximate country, and IP address. The full referrer URL and URL query are not stored. Raw IP addresses are cleared after 30 days; other analytics records remain until manually removed. This website analytics does not record your Tamada app activity, toast content, or purchases. You can accept or reject analytics in the Georgian consent prompt, and change your choice using “ვიზიტების აღრიცხვა” (Visit analytics). Rejection stops new events and removes the browser identifier from local storage; previously recorded server data is not automatically deleted. For deletion requests, contact us. See the website analytics privacy notice. Basic technical access data may also be processed to deliver and secure the website. If you email us, we process the information you send to respond to your request.

For privacy questions or requests, contact Inas Group at hello@inasgroup.net. We will publish updates on this page and change the revision date when our practices change. This policy is separate from Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.
