Overview
Story Time: Georgian Tales is designed for reading and listening without an account. We do not sell personal information, show advertising, or track people across apps or websites.
Information processed
- Device security identifier: Apple App Attest creates a device-level key identifier. We process and store this identifier and its verification data to confirm that requests come from a genuine copy of the app, prevent abuse, and protect the narration service.
- Product interaction: We keep a daily count of narration requests associated with the App Attest identifier to apply service limits and maintain reliable access.
- Subscriptions: When paid content is requested, an Apple transaction identifier may be sent to our service and Apple for entitlement verification. We do not receive payment-card details and do not retain the transaction identifier in our database.
- Technical request data: Our hosting provider may process network information such as IP address, request time, and basic diagnostics to deliver and secure the service.
Information kept on your device
Favorites, reading preferences, the last opened story, and similar settings are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded to us.
How information is used
We use the information described above only to provide app features, verify subscriptions, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce narration limits, maintain security, and diagnose service problems. We do not use it for advertising or marketing.
Sharing and service providers
We use Apple to distribute the app, process subscriptions, and verify purchases, and Cloudflare to host and protect the app's online services. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not share app data with data brokers or advertising networks.
Retention and security
App Attest verification records and daily narration counts are retained only as reasonably necessary to operate and secure the service. Short-lived authentication challenges expire quickly. We use access controls, signed requests, and encryption in transit to protect data.
Children
Story Time: Georgian Tales does not require an account and does not knowingly request names, contact details, precise location, photos, audio recordings, or other personal content from children. Parents or guardians may contact us with any privacy concern.
Your choices
You may stop further collection by deleting the app. To ask a privacy question or request deletion of server records associated with your installation, contact us. We may need information from the app or device to locate the relevant record.
